At the Securities Commission of the Bahamas investor education is viewed as an essential part of our mandate. We believe that an educated investor who is aware of the investment process and know who the players are in the industry will be less susceptible to fraud, and other illegal activities.

While we are committed to ensuring that investment products and those persons providing such services are properly registered with the Commission and provide continuous disclosure of pertinent information so that informed decisions can be made. It is the investor, not the Commission, who must appraise the merits of investment choices.
